Amann Appliance Parts has been a hallmark of customer service and integrity for close to half a century and was named WCI Resco’s Parts Distributor of the Year in 1990. We were also winners of The Readers’ Choice 2014 and 2017 Gold Winner and have been awarded as the Bosch Servicer of the Year for 2013.
Born in Austria, Bertram Amann emigrated from Europe to Canada in 1951. Five years later, he proudly became a Canadian citizen. His first employment in his adopted country was working for de Havilland Aircraft, refurbishing some Lancaster bombers. It was later in the decade that he would begin his career as an appliance service technician when he began working for Bridgeland Appliance in Toronto, where he worked for many years.
In 1965, Mr. Amann moved to the Hamilton area as the manager of the local branch. He purchased the company in 1970, renamed it Amann Appliance and, in 1980, settled at the King Street East location. The move to 1576 Stone Church Road East, Unit 8, will make Amann Appliance more accessible to our customers in Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
